CHILDREN'S ACTIVITIES

 

The area around the house is very safe for children to ride bicycles. Should you not wish to bring your own bikes, there are plenty of places in Vallon Pont d'Arc where bicycles of all sizes can be rented for the length of your stay. Most of the rental places also offer organized outings for children and adolescents.

From the house, the Ardèche river is within a short walking distance for a nice swim and a play on the beach.

At 2km from the Hameau, you will find a wonderful Adventure Park where several exciting hours can be spent playing Tarzan, walking a tightrope or climbing from tree to tree!

If exploring caves is something your child would like to discover, there are several caves in the area that offer tours intendend specifically for children.

Climbing can be learnt from an early age and many different organizations in Vallon Pont d'Arc offer outings taylored to children and young adolescents. They also supply all the necessary equipment. Several places even offer night-time outings, which make it all the more exciting!

Canoeing, of course, is a wonderful activity that should not be missed. Several organizations offer trips at every level. One can even undertake an overnight trip, camping down in the canyon!

Nearby, there are also several properties that welcome children so that they may discover life on a farm. Another fun experience is to go trekking with a Donkey...why not make a day of it and have a picnic all together?
